The 2019 RAM 1500 has updated several of its previous features for the new year, including a new luxurious interior, and a reduction in overall weight by 225 pounds.

Other Features of the RAM 1500

The 2019 RAM 1500 comes in six trim levels (the Tradesman, Big Horn, Rebel, Laramie, Laramie Longhorn, and the Limited Edition) to let you choose the features and price you want. All RAM 1500s come with at least remote keyless entry, a keyless access system, heated side mirrors, voice recognition, and USB ports in the cabin. Several safety features are available as well, such as blind-spot monitoring, lane departure warning, adaptive front headlights, adaptive cruise control, advance brake assist, and forward collision warning. 

The Engines

There are three engines available: a 3.6L 24-Valve V6 with eTorque, a 5.7L HEMI V8, and a 5.7L HEMI V8 with eTorque. The 3.6L V6 comes standard in the Tradesman, Big Horn, and Rebel, with 305 HP, 269 lb-ft torque, and a maximum towing of 7,730 pounds. The 5.7L V8 is standard in the Laramie, Laramie Longhorn, and the Limited Edition, with 395 HP, 410 lb-ft torque, and a maximum towing of 11,610. The eTorque version of the  5.7L V8 is the same, except is an optional feature and comes with a maximum towing capacity of 12,750 pounds.
